2. What inspired you to become a writer?

I loved reading as a kid. I loved fantasy and sci fi, thrillers, philosophy and everything in between. I always wanted to try telling my own stories. The Pandemic inspired me to do it.

3. How far along are you on your current work-in-progress?

I’ve got 1 Book out, The Dragon Legion. Dragh’s Demise, A Novella in the series is out October 29th,2024. Book 2 at 54k!

4. Do you prefer writing dialogue, action or other scenes?

I love action scenes, but my best writing is dialogue.

5. How did you come up with your cover design?

I fell in love with Red Rising’s cover and stuck with the symbology.

6. What is your favorite way to connect with readers? (Social media, newsletters or something else)

I love seeing my books posted on instagram and hearing from readers in any way!

7. Did you ever feel like giving up? If so, how did you overcome that?

Goodness, this book sat in a drawer for a year. I didn't know how to edit and I didn’t know you could make it better by editing!

8. What is your favorite part about being a writer?

Having a really good idea at the oddest time, then getting back to the keyboard to get it written down . OR when you scribble it in a notebook for later and laugh out loud!

9. What is your favorite character from any book you have ever read?

Darrow, Red Rising.

10. Where is your favorite place to read?

Oh. Good Question. When I’m doing other things! So, stopped in a parkinglot or something similar.

11. If you had to write in any other genre, what would that be and why?

I would try writing a thriller or a non-fiction about some historical event.

12. If you could live in any “book world” what would that be?

I would love to live in the world of Brian MacLellans Powder Mage series!

13. What is your best book memory?

The first time I read red rising. It really reignited my love of reading.
